Cross Meditation
wondering
when this would ever end
or would it ever end
wanted to escape somehow
run away from this spot
felt so weak
so vulnerable
tried to utter a prayer
recite some scripture...
but nothing came to me
as I stood beneath the cross
nothing...
this blood will give you life
do not run away from it
rather draw strength
from this moment
